Mr. Ziad El-Khalil joined MAK Holdings in 2004 heading the finance function, he now reports to the Chairman on all investment decisions pertaining to the El-Khalil Group’s subsidiaries in Africa and the Middle East. He has over 20 years experience in general management, investment and finance and substantial exposure to the beverage industry and served in several positions up to General Manager of SBC Nigeria. He is a Director of Continental Beverages, Lebanese Commuting Company SAL, SBC Nigeria, SBC Ghana, Qatar Coral For Real Estate Development L.L.C. He set up SBC Tanzania in 2001 and was its first Managing Director till 2003 and remains its Executive Director till date.
He graduated with a BBA from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
